Are you interested in improving your mental, physical and social wellbeing through wild swimming and associated activities through 2026. Join Coldingham Brave Bayers for a transformative 4-week course that blends wild swimming in the sea with mindful nature-based activities and self-care practices. Each week invites you to connect with the elements from the calm focus of yoga to the joyful, confidence‑building experience of moving in open water. You’ll explore creativity, deepen your relationship with the coastline, and enjoy supportive, accessible sessions designed to help you feel at home in the sea, fostering both personal growth and well-being in a supportive community setting. All wild swimming sessions will cover: water safety, acclimatisation, equipment and techniques provided by qualified and insured swim coaches. Cancellation Policy
1. Booking & Payment - All coaching sessions must be booked in advance via our website. - Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your slot. - Group sessions and private coaching are subject to availability and may be limited by coach-to-swimmer ratios. 2. Cancellation & Rescheduling - Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the session will be eligible for a full refund or reschedule. - Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable, except in cases of medical emergency (proof will be required). - If a session is cancelled due to unsafe weather or water conditions, you will be offered to reschedule. 3. Late Arrivals & Non Attendees - Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to allow time for briefing and preparation. - Late arrivals may not be permitted to join the session and will not be refunded. - Non attendees are considered forfeited bookings and are non-refundable. 4. Health & Safety - All participants must complete the booking form and declarations. - You must not attend if under the influence of alcohol, illegal substances, or medication that impairs your ability to swim safely. - A safety briefing will be provided before each session and attendance is mandatory. 5. Equipment & Requirements - Wetsuits, swim caps, and tow floats may be required depending on water temperature and location. - You are responsible for bringing appropriate gear unless otherwise arranged via hire or part of a scheme. 6. Coach’s Discretion - The coach reserves the right to refuse participation if safety concerns arise or if the swimmer does not meet the required standards for the session. 7. Reserved Rights - We reserves the right to change, postpone, or amend course dates and / or in-person practical sessions due to circumstances outside of our control. In the event of course dates or in-person practical sessions being changed, postponed or amended, we will inform you at the earliest possible time to confirm changes, postponement or amendments. You will be offered to move your booking to the next available date. If you are unable to make the next available course date it may be possible to arrange a bespoke course date, but this will incur additional costs and must be agreed in advance. We do not accept any liability for costs incurred by you due to changes, postponement or amendments of all or any part of the booking.
