OUR VISION

CREATING SPACES TO FEEL, REFLECT & GROW IN THE WILD

Lets make blue and green spaces accessible to everyone, no matter their background or experience.

Inclusion

We are building a thriving community where everyone, regardless of skin colour, age, gender, sexuality, background or ability, can access and enjoy the benefits of blue and green spaces. Our second wave program gives everyone the opportunity to swim wild.

Knowledge

We seek to enhance community appreciation of local environments through learning about natural assets.

Well-being

We inspire individuals on their journey to holistic well-being, fostering self-confidence and resilience. By reducing health disparities and enhancing access to physical activities, we empower them to lead happier, healthier lives.

Awareness

Promoting water safety awareness, collaborating with local organizations to prevent drownings and accidents, and offering guidance and support for safe wild swimming practices.

A STRONGER MIND STARTS WITH SANDY TOES

Taking small steps can create a ripple effect, leading to significant changes not just for an individual, but for the community as well.

OUR IMPACT

"As outdoor swimming continues to gain popularity, this study makes a strong case for swimming in natural environments—not just for physical fitness, but for mental well-being. It seems that there really is something special about diving into a lake or feeling the waves of the ocean"

PROJECTS

CREATING A NEW FUTURE

Our community projects aim to provide everyone with the opportunity to access blue and green spaces, enhancing quality of life and inclusion.

We are committed to creating programs and initiatives that promote the numerous health and well-being benefits of open water swimming. Our focus is on safety, ensuring that everyone feels secure while enjoying this invigorating activity. We believe in the power of nature to foster mental and physical health, and we aim to break down barriers to make open water swimming accessible to all. Our mental health workshops empower participants, especially women, to understand their changing bodies and how engaging with the wild can enhance their overall well-being. By collaborating with local groups, charities, and the RNLI, we are dedicated to promoting Coldingham Bay and its surrounding areas as a positive change zone, encouraging everyone to embrace the transformative experience of open spaces.

WHO MAKES IT ALL HAPPEN
