Designed specifically for open-water swimmers looking to take the next step, Into the Deep offers a safe, supportive and personalised introduction to swimming from a boat. With a maximum of just 6 swimmers, you'll receive individual support from qualified open-water coaches throughout your journey. We'll select the best location for the day's conditions, giving you the opportunity to build confidence, learn new skills and experience the freedom of swimming in deeper water. This isn't a race and it isn't an endurance challenge. It's about exploring, learning and enjoying the sea at your own pace. During your experience you'll: đ Build confidence in deep water đ Learn about tides, sea conditions and local marine environments â Practise deep-water entry, floating and recovery techniques đ Discover how to relax and feel comfortable away from the shoreline đĻ Enjoy wildlife spotting, from seabirds and seals to dolphins and, if we're lucky, orca đ¤ Receive personalised support and coaching throughout âąī¸ Up to 2 hours on the water You can swim in skins or a wetsuit Swim alongside the boat, float, chat, observe wildlife or simply soak up the experience. âšī¸ Pathfinder is equipped with onboard toilets and a working lift, making getting in and out of the water comfortable and accessible. After your swim, enjoy tea and freshly baked scones while taking in the spectacular scenery and hearing stories about our unique coastline and wildlife. As a memento of your achievement, you'll receive a Swim Certificate and the opportunity for commemorative photos.
Cancellation Policy
1. Booking & Payment - All coaching sessions must be booked in advance via our website. - Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your slot. - Group sessions and private coaching are subject to availability and may be limited by coach-to-swimmer ratios. 2. Cancellation & Rescheduling - Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the session will be eligible for a full refund or reschedule. - Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable, except in cases of medical emergency (proof will be required). - If a session is cancelled due to unsafe weather or water conditions, you will be offered to reschedule. 3. Late Arrivals & Non Attendees - Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to allow time for briefing and preparation. - Late arrivals may not be permitted to join the session and will not be refunded. - Non attendees are considered forfeited bookings and are non-refundable. 4. Health & Safety - All participants must complete the booking/intake form and declarations. - You must not attend if under the influence of alcohol, illegal substances, or medication that impairs your ability to swim safely. - A safety briefing will be provided before each session and attendance is mandatory. 5. Equipment & Requirements - Wetsuits, swim caps, and tow floats may be required depending on water temperature and location. - You are responsible for bringing appropriate gear unless otherwise arranged via hire or part of a scheme. 6. Coachâs Discretion - The coach reserves the right to refuse participation if safety concerns arise or if the swimmer does not meet the required standards for the session. 7. Reserved Rights - We reserves the right to change, postpone, or amend course dates and / or in-person practical sessions due to circumstances outside of our control. In the event of course dates or in-person practical sessions being changed, postponed or amended, we will inform you at the earliest possible time to confirm changes, postponement or amendments. You will be offered to move your booking to the next available date. If you are unable to make the next available course date it may be possible to arrange a bespoke course date, but this will incur additional costs and must be agreed in advance. We do not accept any liability for costs incurred by you due to changes, postponement or amendments of all or any part of the booking.
